KSRTC bus rams into tree, passengers sustain head injuries

Bengaluru: A KSRTC bus headed towards Bengaluru rammed into a roadside tree at Biddadi here after its driver lost control of the vehicle on Friday.

Nearly 30 passengers onboard the bus sustained head injuries, of which five are said to be in a critical state. They are undergoing treatment at NIMHANS hospital.

The driver is said to have lost control of the bus after its axle broke, and went on to collide into the tree. A few two-wheelers parked near the accident spot were also damaged in the mishap, police said.
