KSRTC resumes bus operation between Kasaragod-Mangaluru after 8-months gap

Mangaluru: After eight months gap KSRTC buses resume operation between Kasaragod and Mangaluru on Monday, November 16.

Although the Centre’s Unlock guidelines had allowed inter-state public transport to resume without restrictions or need for e-passes months ago, a farcical situation was played out on the border with Kerala at Talapady near Mangaluru.

While bus services were banned between Mangaluru and Kasargod, hundreds of people from either sidewalk across the border at Talapady every day. However, in a major relief to such passengers, the buses have resumed their operations between Kasaragod and Mangaluru on Monday, November 16.
