KSRTC suspends bus services to Kerala; two buses vandalised at Kasargod

Bengaluru/Mangaluru: The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation on Thursday suspended its bus services to Kerala in view of the bandh being observed in the neighbouring state over the entry of women devotees in Sabarimala temple
The services have been suspended as a precautionary measure and are likely to resume in the evening following clearance from the police. Meanwhile, it is gathered that two buses of KSRTC’s Mangaluru division were vandalised by protestors at Kasargod bus stand on Thursday morning.
A statement from KSRTC said that from Bengaluru to Kerala three services have been stopped. This apart, around 40 services from Mangaluru to Kerala and around 20 services from other divisions stand cancelled.
