K’taka COVID-19 update: 550 new cases, 644 discharges, 2 deaths on Jan 27

Bengaluru: On January 27, 550 new cases of COVID-19 were reported from across the State along with 644 recoveries and 2 virus-related deaths.

The State’s total tally now stands at 9,37,933 cases out of these 12,209 have succumbed to the virus.

Presently, 6,202 COVID-19 cases are active in the State out of these 150 are undergoing treatment in Intensive Care Units.

With 169 cases reported on the same day, Bengaluru Urban district has continued to be the highest per day contributor of new cases. All other districts reported less than 40 cases each.
