K’taka govt withdraws online betting permission for racing club

Bengaluru: The Karnataka government has withdrawn the permission granted to Bangalore Turf Club (BTC) to conduct online bettings.
The move comes as a PIL filed by a Bengaluru resident against the granting of permission is still pending in the high court.
After the withdrawal of permission to BTC the Mysore Race Club Limited too stopped conducting online bettings.
