K’taka HC slams government for not including eminent persons in medical expert committees

Bengaluru: The High Court of Karnataka slammed government for not including eminent persons as members of the medical expert committees appointed to inspect Covid-19 hospitals
A division bench comprising Justice Aravind Kumar and Justice M I Arun said that the state must take immediate corrective steps to comply with the order of the apex court in its letter
The bench said that there are no names of NGOs or eminent personalities in the committees constituted at the BBMP level as it would have added value
