K’taka withdraws order to treat airport staff as frontline workers for COVID-19 vaccine

Bengaluru: Karnataka government on Sunday withdrew order to vaccinate staff at airports in the state against COVID-19 on priority after passing the order on Friday.
“No action should be taken on that circular,” clarification from Commissioner for Health and Family Welfare read. The clarification added that only airport staff who are covered as healthcare worker or frontline worker will be included.
