Mysuru: Janata Dal (S) State president H.D. Kumaraswamy has accused Chief Minister Siddaramaiah of threatening the party’s candidate in Chamundeshwari, G.T. Deve Gowda.
G.T. Deve Gowda, who currently represents Chamundeshwari constituency, and who had earlier defeated Siddaramaiah from this constituency in the past, is likely to be contesting against Siddaramaiah in this constituency during the coming assembly election.
Kumaraswamy said his name was intentionally included in the Jantkal mining scam, though he was not a party to any deal.
Kumaraswamy also alleged that Siddaramaiah was pressuring Deve Gowda to join the Congress party if not to go behind bars.
