Kumaraswamy sure of one ‘hijacked’ MLA returning

Bengaluru: JD(S) State President H.D. Kumaraswamy said on Friday that one of the missing MLAs from the Congress, said to be hijacked by the BJP, will return to the party on Saturday. He said that the party was in touch with the MLA and would bring him back to the party. He also assured that the combined alliance of the JD(S), BSP and the Congress will defeat the motion moved by Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa.
Kumaraswamy commented on the appointment of BJP member K.G. Bopaiah as the pro-term Speaker and said that it was due to the influence of CM Yeddyurappa. He reminded that the Supreme Court had passed strictures against Bopaiah for misusing the office in 2010. But nevertheless, he was confident of winning the floor test in the Assembly and assured that his party will form a stable government.
