Kundapura: Lorry rear-ends bus; One student seriously injured; Several others hurt

Kundapura: A lorry rammed into the back of a private bus on National Highway 66, in front of the Tallur Tourist Hotel, on the morning of Saturday, August 10.

As a result of the accident, one student on the bus was seriously injured, and several others, including 7-8 students, sustained injuries. The lorry driver and conductor were also injured. The injured have been admitted to a private hospital in Kundapura.

The bus was traveling from Byndoor towards Kundapura. The impact of the collision severely damaged the rear of the bus and the front of the lorry.

Kundapur traffic police visited the spot and are investigating.
