Labourer’s body suffers burns due to the heat

Badiyadka: Due to the scorching heat of the summer, a labourer working under the Employment Guarantee Scheme has suffered burns. The injured person is identified as Sanjeeva Bhandary (65), a resident of Aduru 17th mile.
Recently, Mr Bhandary had had gone to work under the Employment Guarantee Scheme. On that day, by evening his body had developed water boils and burn marks. The doctors at Mulleriya and Kasaragod Government Hospital informed that the burns on his body were due to the heat under the summer sun.
Presently, Mr Bhandary is getting treated at his home. His house was visited by Karadka GP member Janani, BJP Panchayat President Vasant K and others.
