Mangaluru: A lady got injured after falling from a two-wheeler which she was riding pillion on with her husband and went unconscious. However, the lady was in luck as MLA Dr Bharath Shetty was traveling on the same way and came to her rescue by giving her first aid on the spot and getting her admitted to a hospital.

On Sunday afternoon, the couple was proceeding on their bike on the Surathkal-Kana-Bala road when the lady suddenly fell from the bike and lost her consciousness. Meanwhile, MLA Shetty, who was passing by the same spot in his car, saw the man trying to lift his unconscious wife from the road and immediately stopped his car.
