Lakhs worth gold stolen from a house in Belthangady

Belthangady: Thieves entered the house of Puroshottam Gowda, in Pulimajalu, Belthandagy in broad daylight and stole gold jewellery worth lakhs on Wednesday, June 25.
It is said that on Wednesday morning Purushottam and his family had gone to Parenki village and placed the key near the shoe stand of their house.
When returned they found that the house key was not near the shoe stand. The family then rushed to the house and found that the cupboard lock was broken and around 60 grams of gold has been stolen.
A complaint has been filed at the nearby police station and investigation is underway
