Late B.A. Moideen’s autobiography released

Mangaluru: the autobiography of Former Minister late B A Moideen titled ‘Nannolagina Naanu’ was released at Mangaluru Town Hall on Friday. July 20th.

The autobiography of Mr. Moideen who passed away recently, was released by retired vice-chancellor of Hampi University, Prof B A Vivek Rai. Moideen was a statesman, leader backed by impeccable virtues, and former minister for higher education.

Professor Rai spoke after the release and said, “It gives me immense pleasure to release B A Mohideen’s autobiography ‘Nannolagina Naanu’. I have shared great bonding with the veteran leader. He was a great thinker and this 232 pages autobiography has mentioned about his days with other leaders and the challenges of his political career.  He was a leader who built good relations with all the other community members. He has very honestly described his journey in his book and will inspire all.”

“B A Mohideen was a selfless leader. Even though he belonged to Muslim community, he earned the love and respect from other community members as well. Mohideen was inspiration for all. He has also mentioned about me in this book and about the recently concluded elections,” he added.

Former chief minister Siddaramaiah spoke on the occasion and said that the autobiography contained a chapter on him in which the late minister gave cause to the former CM’s defeat in Chamundeshwari constituency and why Congress failed to form a government of its own. Mr. Moideen also mentions that Hindutva and malicious campaigns had brought darkness on his political career, said Siddaramiah.

“In his book, Moideen has explained how innocents are targeted through communalism. He has called upon all politicians to work honestly to bring harmony in the society,” he added.
