Legal action will be taken against those defying 14-day quarantine norms, warns DC Jagadeesh

Udupi: District deputy commissioner G Jagadeesh on Thursday, May 28 informed that domestic and foreign returnees who have completed seven days institutional quarantine have been sent home.
Speaking with this regard G Jagadeesh, “Domestic and foreign returnees who completed 7 days institutional quarantine have been sent back home and will have to stay under home quarantine for next seven days.”
He further added, “After going from institutional quarantine center, they will be placed under home quarantine and everyone will be traced through an app. If they do not follow the quarantine norms properly a case will be filed against them.”
“During the seven days home quarantine period if the returnees show any symptoms of COVID-19, they should report to us immediately,” the DC informed.
