Mangaluru: The summer heat is taking a toll on humans and animals alike and everyone in the city they have noticed how hot it has been the past few days and it’s only the start of the summer season!

The soaring temperature is just an indication of how deadly the heatwave is gonna be. While we humans may escape the heat by sitting in air-conditioned rooms, the stray animals and winged creatures will face the brunt of the summer heat.

“March is already so hot and I can’t imagine how hotter April would get. Therefore, keeping the well-being of the birds in mind, me and Azzfar Razack came up with this project,” he added.

He further added, “To make these bird feeders, we are reusing the existing oil tins, and creating jobs for craftsmen, taking forward the message Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.:

What inspired Ananth to come-up with this initiative is a post by an IFS officer, Parveen Kaswan regarding the same.
