Lightning damages house in Vitla; family unhurt

Vitla: Lightning struck a home in Kalmale, Veerakamba village during the heavy rainfall on Wednesday July 7 evening. However, the entire family escaped unhurt.
A lightning bolt struck a house that belongs to Raghuram Shetty. The walls of the house developed cracks, and the electric meter and wires got damaged.
Raghuram’s daughter, Prajitha, a college student, felt strong electric shocks due to lightning while attending online classes.
Also, other family members too were inside the house when the lightning struck the home. However, they were fortunate enough to survive.
