Lineman suffers electrocution; Welder comes to the rescue

Moodbidri: A lineman who had climbed a electricity pole at Niddodi to carryout repair work accidentally came in contact with live wires and was fighting for his life when a welder who was nearby came to his rescue.
Lineman Digambara S was fighting for his life atop the electricity pole at Kolamali and those who were with the victim were too shocked to take any action when, Keshav from Vamanjoor who was working on welding rushed to the victims rescue, climbed the pole and successfully brought Digambara down. Keshav’s immediate action to rescue the victim without caring for his own life has been appreciated by the public.
The victim Digambara is originally from Bagalakot and presently a staff of Kallamundkuru Mescom division.
