Bengaluru: The Central Crime Branch examining the Lokayukta PV Shetty assault case directed a narco-examination on the accused Tejraj Sharma on Wednesday.

A group of CCB sleuths escorted Tejraj to the Forensic Science Laboratory in Ahmedabad where he underwent the tests. The tests were directed after the accused’s consent and authorization from the court.

It is accumulated that Tejraj said that he had assaulted and stabbed the Lokayukta since he had declined to follow up on a complaint held up by him against corrupt authorities. He said that he had followed up on the command of Lord Krishna, as indicated by a source. In the mean time, another report has indicated emergence of other angles after the test.

Apparently, the narco tests were undertaken after Justice P Vishwanatha Shetty communicated his dismay over the lead of the investigation since the charge-sheet had been recorded, based on the statements of the accused. The Lokayukta needed to know whether the accused had been induced by some other individual to do this act.

It might be reviewed that on March 7 Tejraj had stabbed Justice Shetty at his office. He was arrested soon after the incident.
