M B Patil promised berth in next cabinet expansion

Bengaluru: M B Patil, MLA of Congress who was despondent over not gettting a ministerial position and had requested the post of Deputy Chief MInister (DCM) was told undoubtedly by the Congress high charge that it was unrealistic to make one more DCM post. He has been guaranteed of a ministerial berth in the second portion of the extension of the present cabinet.
M B Patil has been cautioned to stop all activities, including leading meetings with displeased MLAs, that is embarrassing the coalition government. The Congress high charge has guaranteed that it would fill the six positions that are empty as soon as possible.
In the mean time, it is learnt that former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda, Congress supremo Sonia Gandhi, and Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy had a discussion with Rahul Gandhi on the political improvements in the state since the coalition government assumed power and in turn, Rahul also held a discussion with senior leaders of the Congress party of the state.
Kumaraswamy has likewise had talks via telephone with the Congress MLAs, who are denied of a ministerial berth in the main list, and guaranteed them that they would get open doors in future and he would be with them in progress identified with their constituencies.
D K Shivakumar, minister of water resources and medicinal education, under the bearings of Congress high summon met H K Patil, who is additionally one of the dejected MLAs, and comforted him. Senior leader Jaffer Shariff additionally met H K Patil and conciliated him.
