Mallikarjun Kharge claims of receiving threat calls

Kalaburagi: MP Mallikarjuna Kharge said that he had gotten death threats on the telephone and attempts had been made to scare him.
Speaking to the media persons at press meeting in Kalaburagi on Sunday, Kharge said he had gotten mysterious threat calls and had filed a complaint with the Tughlaq police of New Delhi in such manner.
“I have additionally informed Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan,” he stated, including that he had been getting threat calls for almost a month and a half.
“When I was six years of age, my life was in a risk. In any case, I have lived to be 76 years of age is solely because the love and trust of people,” the MP commented.
Kharge communicated disappointment over Bidar (South) MLA Ashok Kheny’s joining Congress party.
“I have no clue why Kheny has joined Congress. Individuals who carried him into the party need to clarify how the joining will profit the party. I would prefer not to remark anymore on the issue,” Kharge asserted
