Bengaluru: After the doctor who treated Vidwath L was condemned by the High Court of Karnataka, the Mallya Hospital panel has decided to probe into the discharge summary of Vidwath L.

Dr Anand, plastic surgeon of Mallya Hospital had marked the discharged summary of Vidwath, who was mercilessly assaulted by Mohammed Nalapad Haris and his friends in a fight at Farzi Cafe in UB City.

CEO of hospital Commodore Indru Wadhwani disclosed to the media that its ethics council had a meeting and will research the issue.

“Dr Anand is part of the board of doctors at the hospital. He’s not being terminated as specified in a few media reports. There’s a technique in examining such issues and the hospital is following it,” Wadhwani said.

Dismissing Nalapad’s bail plea on Wednesday, high court Justice Sreenivas Harish Kumar had mentioned some objective facts about the controversial discharge summary in his order. “As I would see it, the doctor who has issued the discharge summary seems to have exceeded the limit,” Justice Kumar had said.

“It is exceptionally related to say here that the same doctor goes to the degree of giving a statement about the wellness of Vidwath. He has likewise given a statement that Vidwath has been mentored to delay in giving any statements before the police.

“The discharge summary clearly shows that no less than three to four doctors took care of the patient. At the point when those doctors stayed silent, for what reason did Dr Anand show interests for giving explanations and composing something in his discharge summary?

“Regardless of whether this Dr Anand was approved to give the discharge summary is additionally debated by the special public prosecutor. Every one of these occasions just demonstrates that the doctor may have been affected by the prosecutor (Nalapad) or his men. This is one method for tampering with proof,” the judge stated, including that the clarifications by Nalapad’s board on the release synopsis will be of no benefit.

Dr Anand’s discharge summary was accessible with Haris before Vidwath could get to it. The MLA immediately posted it on his Facebook page. The special public prosecutor contended over the MLA getting to the discharge summary in the court, guaranteeing that Dr Anand is the sibling of one of Haris’ close partners.
