Man arrested for circulating fake message about Saalumarada Thimmakka

Bengaluru: Bengaluru city crime branch (CCB) police have captured a man in association with a fake message identified with Saalumarada Thimmakka that was circled in social media.
The denounced, Pradeep Gowda, is a resident of Haradanahalli in KR Nagar, Mysuru.
Award winning environmental activist Saalumarada Thimmakka and her foster son B N Umesh had on May 26 recorded a complain with Bengaluru city police official in regards to a fake message that was being flowed about her.
The fake message asserted that Thimmakka had passed away and a photo of her ‘lifeless body’ in a hospital was being circulated in WhatsApp a week ago.
In light of the complaint, the police arrested Pradeep Gowda.
Pradeep has a Facebook page in his own particular name. It is asserted that he circled the fake message from this account by posting it in another page called ‘Sneha Loka’. The photo of Thimmakka’s ‘dead body’ was going with the message was altered utilizing photoshop, it is said.
