Man attempting to jump off Ullal Bridge saved by public

Mangaluru: A man who was attempting to jump off Ullal bridge was saved by some locals on Sunday, August 18.
Apparently, the man was trying to jump off the bridge with the aim to commit suicide when some locals noticed his actions and managed to stop him in good time. They then called the cops.
It may be noted that several deaths and attempted suicides have been reported from the bridge in the recent past including the suicide of Cafe Coffee Day founder V G Siddharatha Hegde.
