Man ends life upset over closure of liquor shops

Kadaba: With liquor shops shut amid a national lockdown, allegedly committed suicide on Saturday, March 28 due to unavailability of liquor.
The deceased has been identified as Thomas (50), a resident of Kodinbala.
As per sources, Thomas was frustrated over the closing of liquor shops and was showing withdrawal symptoms as he was not getting alcohol from the last few days.
A case in this regard has been registered with the Kadaba.
All liquor outlets have been closed in the state as part of the nationwide lockdown to check the spread of coronavirus which has affected over 120 people in the state.
