Man escapes with minor injuries after car falls into pit

Bantwal: A man escaped with minor injuries after the car he was driving plunged into a pit, dug for construction purpose here at BC Road on Thursday, January 9.

The victim Rajesh was headed towards BC Road when the mishap took place.

Locals have complained that contractors have not set up any warning signals or barricades at the place of road construction activity which has been a cause for such accidents.

The pit was dug out for road repair works going on between BC Road and Punjalkatte.
