Man found dead in car at Charmadi Ghat; suicide suspected

Mangaluru: A man’s dead body was found in the driver’s seat of a car near Kottigehara in Charmadi Ghat here on Wednesday, August 19.

The man, whose identity is to be established is believed to have committed suicide by consuming poison.

The car had been parked by the roadside here since last evening.

Police recovered a bottle of poison from near the Kwid Car bearing KA 05 MT-4877 registration number.

Banekal police registered a case and investigation is ongoing.
