Man hacked to death in Beltangady

Beltangady: A 40-year-old person was hacked to death at Guruvayankere on Friday, January 24 night.
The deceased has been identified as Ramesh. Police have arrested a rowdy-sheeter, identified as Annu in this connection.
As per reports, the duo got into a verbal spat following which Anu is said to have assaulted Ramesh. Anu was caught while he was trying to flee the scene. Police suspect old rivalry to be the cause of the murder.
A case has been registered.
