Mandya: In a tragic incident a woman and her two children drowned in a pond on Sunday. June 14.
The deceased have been identified as Geeta (40), and her two children Savita(19) and Soumya(14).
The trio drowned in a pond where they had gone to wash their cloths. The locals rushed to the spot and tried to rescue them but could not save.
Nagamadala rural police have registered a case with this regard.
