Mangaluru: 310 new COVID-19 cases; 256 discharges; 6 deaths in DK on Sep 9

Mangaluru: On September 9, in the Dakshina Kannada district, 310 new cases of OVID-19 were recorded along with 256 discharges of recovered people and 6 deaths due to the virus.

Majority of the new cases were reported from Mangaluru taluk (188 cases). Other taluks cases include Bantwala 27, Puttur 25, Sullia 25 and Belthangady 26, while 19 cases were residents of other districts.

The total number of cases reported in the district till date is 15,452 out of which 3,102 cases are active.

The death toll of the district from COVID-19 stands at 418.
