Mangaluru: Compol lauds driver, conductor for returning Rs 10k found in bus

Mangaluru: Police Commissioner N Shashi Kumar lauded a driver and a conductor of a private bus for returning Rs 10,000 that they found in their bus near Talapady checkpost.
Conductor Althaf and driver Dinakar, employees of Mahesh Travels, returned the cash by handing it over to the police commissioner’s office.
Addressing presspersons Shashi Kumar said that Althaf, found Rs 10,000 on a seat of the bus. He discussed the matter with Dinakar, and the two of them returned the cash to the police commissioner’s office.
The police commissioner also thanked the duo for their honesty.
He also said that the person who lost the money in the bus can collect it from the commissioner’s office.
Meanwhile, Althaf and Dinakar said that they returned whatever they found in the bus as it was the right thing to do.
