Mangaluru: Dangerous manhole at Milagres threatens motorists

Mangaluru: A broken lid of a manhole at the city’s Milagres Cross Road could become the cause of an accident.

Various works have been going on for months in the Hampankatta area and the entire Milagres Cross Road is undergoing concretisation.

The manhole lid was damaged during these works.

Locla corporator Vinayaraj said, “After the road was dug up for the Smart City works, the manhole became visible and its lid was hit and damaged by passing vehicles. Revelant department has been informed about the issue.”
