Mangaluru: DC Dr Rajendra resolves Talapady toll issue

Mangaluru: In a meeting held at the divisional office in Kadri, Deputy Commissioner Dr Rajendr KV and representatives of bus operators and the toll operator came to an agreement over the Talapady toll issue.
It was agreed by the toll operator to charge Rs 14,000 as toll per month from the buses while the bus operators can charge an additional Rs 2 to passengers alighting at the Talpady bus stop.
Moreover, an exemption to the payment of toll to vehicles owned by residents of areas nearby the toll plaza was also taken.
