Mangaluru: A man in Mangaluru loses Rs 2 lakh to scammers running a fake matrimonial site.
It is said that the man was looking for a groom for his daughter and came across a matrimonial site, FMB Elite Marriage Bureau (A1).
He called the number mentioned on the website and they asked him to pay Rs 2 lakh to become a member.
The man transferred the amount but did not get any response from them. Later, he filed a complaint at the nearby police station.
