Mangaluru: MLA U T Khader has strongly condemned the failure of the district administration and the State government for not making proper arrangements for 33 people of the 179 passengers who arrived at Mangaluru from Dubai on the night of May 12.
The 33 had not booked a hotel room for their quarantine and hence had to be quarantined at a hostel. But due to some issues, they could not be provided with one until 2 am in the night.
Khader added that till that time the 33 arrivals had to stay at the airport without any food. He said he will question the district administration in this lapse in arrangements.
