Mangaluru: Light showers hit city on Deepavali eve

Mangaluru: Light showers were reported from many parts of the city on the evening of November 13 on the eve of Deepavali.
The sudden downpouring of rain hampered the shoppers who had come out for their festival purchases.
The rain affected the sellers of firecrackers, flowers, fruits and Deepavali lanterns.
Many officegoers also had to face problems as they were without any umbrellas or raincoats.
