Mangaluru: Man arrested for injuring on-duty police personnel

Manguluru: A man was arrested by the police after he drove his vehicle into a traffic police officer who was checking the vehicles near Bejai Big Bazar on Thursday, April 23.
The arrested is identified as Sadaqat and the injured is Traffic assistant sub-inspector Sooraj Kumar.
As per sources, the police officials had set up barricades near Big Bazaar outlet at Bijai to monitor vehicular movements, When the police tried to stop the vehicle, the accused directly drove his vehicle into the police injured Sooraj.
A case with this regard has been registered with Barke police and investigating is one.
