Mangaluru: Man uses dead Covid patient’s ATM card to siphon Rs 3.77 lakh

Mangaluru: In a shocking incident, a man in Mangaluru stole a dead Covid patient’s ATM card to siphon Rs 3.77 lakh.
It is said that a man named Vivian Sequeira tested positive for the virus and was admitted to a hospital in the city. A man identified as Faizar was taking care of Vivian at the hospital.
On May 18, Vivian Sequeira died of the infection and Faizar allegedly stole his debit card and withdrew the cash.
A complaint was filed by Vivian’s wife Rovena Sequeira and a case has been registered in the Kankanady police station.
