Mangaluru: Murderous assault on Attavar resident; police arrest two

Mangaluru: Two persons have been arrested in connection with an attempt to murder case on a resident of Attavar here on May 4.

The arrested identified as Biswanath Rajak and Madhusudan Kumar have been booked under sections 143, 147, 148, 323, 324, 307, 448, r/w 149 of IPC and 2A KPDL Act.

The arrested duo along with others had assaulted the victim identified as Bipulkumar over a dispute regarding disposal of waste.

Biswanath and Madhusudan have been remanded to judicial custody and efforts are underway to arrest the other accused in the case.
