Mangaluru: Police officials help pregnant woman reach hospital on time; felicitated by ComPol

Mangaluru: Police officials deployed  at Arkula check post here played the role of a Good Samaritan by helping a woman facing labour pain reach hospital quickly and deliver her baby under medical supervision

Mangaluru police assistant sub-inspector Harish and constable Vijaykumar V transported the woman in their vehicle to A J Hospital

It is said that while the pregnant woman from Vittal was being taken to a hospital in their private car by her husband, the vehicle developed problems at Arkula

Sub-inspector Harish and constable Vijayakumar V came to the rescue and helped the woman reach hospital on time.

The police officials were felicitated by Mangaluru City Police commissioner Shashi Kumar on Monday, April 26
