Mangaluru: A man has allegedly posted derogatory comments against former union minister and senior Congress leader Janardhan Poojary on Facebook.

The accused named Karavali Rashid Tippu had posted on his FB saying, “Janardhan Poojary is a peculiar person who enjoyed power continuously in his own party but bats for BJP. Congress high command has also not opposed him so far. If any person belonging to minority community had done such an anti-party activity, he would have been suspended by Congress. Stop this apartheid attitude.”

Now, an appeal in this regard addressed to the police commissioner has been submitted to Urwa police station by Biruver Kudla organization.

The police are yet to register an FIR.
