Mangaluru prison violence: 4 cases registered against attacker

Mangaluru: Four cases were filed against the attacker involved in attacking and injuring two other inmates in the district jail here on Sunday, April 25.
The attacker reportedly had prepared and hidden carrom board frames, tube lights and other items which he used in the attack.
The attacker was presented in court on Sunday and was remanded into judicial custody.
Police Commissioner Shashi Kumar said that the accused attacker will be investigated further by the police.
20 prisoners from the jail have also been shifted to prisons in Belagavi, Shivamogga and Dharwad.
