Mangaluru: Student killed after being run over by truck while avoiding pothole

Mangaluru: A nursing college student was killed on the spot after being run over by a fish truck here on on NH 66 near Nanthoor on Tuesday September 28.
The deceased is identified as Manas Ramnath Ugale, a native of Pune.
As per reports, the truck ran over Ugale after he fell from his Pulsar bike while trying to avoiding a water-filled pothole on the road.
Eyewitnesses said that Ugale was wearing a helmet but it came-off when he fell from the bike.
A case has been registered.
