Mangaluru, Udupi: DK records 377 new COVID-19 cases; Udupi 175

Mangaluru, Udupi: The Dakshina Kannada district added 377 new COVID-19 cases to its tally on September 4 with 9 deaths due to the virus on the same day.

311 people were discharged after recovering from the virus.

The total cases in the district now stand at 14,600 out of which 2,961 are presently active.

The death toll stands at 400.

In Udupi district, 175 new cases were reported while 4 people died because of the virus on the same day.

232 people were discharged after recovery.

A total of 12,511 cases of COVID-19 have been reported from the district till date. Out of these 1,906 are presently active.

The district’s death toll from the virus is 112.
