Manipal: Man hacks elder brother to death over family feud

Manipal: A man allegedly hacked his elder brother to death over a family feud in Kabyadi Kambalakatta, Badagubettu village, Udupi.

The deceased has been identified as Balakrishna Naik (43). It is said that on March 16, Balakrishna was involved in an altercation with his younger brother Dayanand following a family dispute.

Suddenly, losing his temper, Dayanand took a sharp weapon and attacked his elder brother Balakrishna killing him on the spot.

A case has been registered at Manipal Police station, police officials visited the spot and conducted an inspection.

Further investigations are underway.
