Manipal: Man high on alcohol rams car into two other vehicles, one injured

Manipal: A person reportedly under the influence of alcohol rammed into two other vehicles in reverse gear, leaving one injured.
The incident took place on Saturday, September 3, when, a person named Suhas had been to a pub in the city to party with his friends namely Bharat, Naveen Kalyan, Nirmala, and Kavana.
After the party, Suhas in his Innova car had boarded his friends and was about to leave. At this point in time, Suhas, who was high on alcohol, had shifted to reverse gear, eventually ramming into two other cars parked in the parking lot of the pub. In this incident, an employee of the pub named Vikrant, who was at the spot also suffered injuries on his legs.
From the interim investigative reports of the police, it is learned that they were all IT employees, working in a private firm in Bengaluru and had come to Udupi to attend the marriage of a relative.
Meanwhile, the medical test report confirmed that Suhas was high on alcohol, while the rest of his friends are subjected to medical tests.
One of the car owners, whose car was damaged in the incident has filed a complaint with the police.
The investigation is on.
