Manipal: The movements of the leopard that caused panic around Manipal have not been detected recently. The department staff reported that the search operation is ongoing.

A few days ago, CCTV footage captured the leopard near a house in Perampalli. Public reports indicated sightings of the leopard in other parts of Manipal.

In response, the forest department placed a trap near End Point, where the leopard was seen frequently.

On Monday, officials will inspect the trap near End Point and decide whether to relocate it based on discussions with locals.
