Manipal: Woman killed in road mishap

Manipal: A 37-year-old woman was killed in a road mishap near KMC Hospital here on Tuesday, June 23 morning.
The deceased identified as Padma was employed in a garment factory here.
On Tuesday, Padma left home for her work. She was reportedly crossing the road when a car dashed into her. Though she was rushed to the hospital she passed away.
The police have taken the car and its driver into their custody.
