MCC elections: Polling underway

Mangaluru: The polling for urban local bodies in Mangaluru city corporations is underway.
Political leaders across party lines were seen casting their vote at the polling stations that opened at 7 am. Better turnout is expected in Mangaluru.
12 3,87,517 people in 60 wards are eligible to vote in the elections. While 1,99,989 are men, 1,87,465 are women, and the number of others is 63. Voting will be held at 448 polling booths between 7 am and 5 pm.
