Meet Ellie Goldstein, 18-Year-old model with Down Syndrome featured in Gucci Beauty campaign

18-year-old model,  Ellie Goldstein is the face of Gucci’s Unconventional Beauty campaign. She is the first model with Down syndrome to pose for the luxury brand

Ellie’s photograph, taken by David PD Hyde, was selected from among those submitted to the #theguccibeautyglitch project, organized by Gucci Beauty and Vogue Italy magazine through Instagram, exploring the theme “Unconventional Beauty.”

The project marks one of the first times that a model with Down syndrome has been featured with the brand.

Ellie’s photo on Gucci’s Instagram page has  received more than 800,000 likes and accumulated thousands of comments in praise of their decision.

Ellie is originally from Essex, England  and is managed by Zebedee Management, a talent agency

In addition to her latest work with Gucci Beauty and Vogue Italia, she has been featured in campaigns for Nike, Superdrug and Vodafone.
